The Cross Art + Books sells second-hand books and ephemera. Because our stock is pre-owned, each listing describes the item’s condition as accurately as we can. Please read the listing carefully before you buy.
Change of Mind
We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. This includes situations where you’ve simply changed your mind, found the title cheaper elsewhere, or no longer want the item. Please choose carefully, and get in touch before ordering if you have any questions about an item’s condition, edition or suitability.
Items Not as Described or Damaged
We offer a 30-day return guarantee. If an item arrives significantly different from its listing description, or arrives damaged, you’re entitled to a full refund, including your original shipping cost, for up to 30 days after delivery.
To arrange a return:
- Email info@crossartbooks.com within 30 days of delivery.
- Include your order number and a description of the issue. Photos help, especially for damage.
- We’ll reply within 2 business days with return instructions and our postal address.
- Pack the book securely and return it in the condition you received it. We cover return postage for damaged or misdescribed items.
Refunds are made to your original payment method within 5 business days of the book arriving back with us.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that they will match their description and be of acceptable quality, taking into account that they are second-hand, their price and any condition disclosed at the time of sale. If a good fails to meet one of these guarantees, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the nature of the issue.
